Pillars Secondary and Vocational School
Background

Started in 2024 to widen affordable access to secondary education.

The school was founded by Kunihira Patrick and Nakakawa Madina after PACM children were attending different schools at high cost. The aim was to reduce fees pressure on families while also generating stronger in-community education pathways.

It began with about 100 students and has grown to around 250 students, combining academic learning with vocational skills such as hairdressing, tailoring and computer studies.
