PACM was formalized to serve vulnerable children with dignity, discipleship and the tools to build stronger futures.
The Pillars of Africa Children's Ministry started as a children's choir and Sunday school at Nakwero Gospel Outreach Church with seven vulnerable children. Founder Kunihira Patrick and his wife Madina Kunihira saw the need to empower these children through ministry skills, education, daily living support and access to basic needs.
In 2015 the founders moved to formalize the work, and PACM was duly registered by Wakiso District as a community-based organization. Since then, the ministry has brought together people with a heart for serving children and families facing vulnerability.
PACM envisions children with improved livelihoods, stronger values and better opportunities to thrive.
The ministry exists to raise capable ministers for the Kingdom of God while improving child and family livelihood.
PACM helps children by providing the assistance they need to live safely, learn consistently and grow with hope.
PACM's objectives combine spiritual growth, formal and informal education, health, child protection, income generation and inclusion for children who are often left behind.
